Vietnamese Salads & Pickles

Vietnamese salads and pickles are known for their fresh, crunchy textures and tangy flavors, often incorporating vegetables, herbs, and a balance of sweet and sour dressing. Do Chua, which translates to “sour things,” serves as a perfect accompaniment to Vietnamese dishes. Pickled Carrots and Daikons are a must when making a Banh Mi and if you really want to give a kick to it then add Pickled Jalapenos to the sandwich!

My Chinese Chicken Salad is a blend of all the Asian salads that I have loved in the past married into one. If you really want to dive deep into Vietnamese cooking, a very authentic and classic Vietnamese salad is Goi Shrimp and Pork which you will find at many family gatherings.
