Vietnamese Pizza – Banh Trang Nuong

Vietnamese pizza, a beloved street food, is easily recreated in your kitchen, offering a perfect and speedy snack option.

Ingredients 

  • Chinese sausage, cut up in small bits
  • rice paper
  • green onions, chopped
  • cilantro, chopped
  • eggs
  • Kewpie mayonnaise, or a mayo of your preference
  • sriracha
  • fried shallots

Instructions

  • In a pan, fry up the Chinese sausage until it's cooked through.
  • Remove from pan and set aside.
  • Wipe pan clean.
  • Over medium heat, place dry rice paper in the same pan.
  • Sprinkle green onions and cilantro, then crack one egg and spread around rice paper.
  • Sprinkle some cooked Chinese sausage, drizzle mayonnaise and sriracha, and top with fried shallots.
  • Fold rice paper over (like an omelette or crepe), flip it, and then it's ready to eat!
