Vietnamese Pizza – Banh Trang Nuong
Vietnamese pizza, a beloved street food, is easily recreated in your kitchen, offering a perfect and speedy snack option.
Ingredients
- Chinese sausage, cut up in small bits
- rice paper
- green onions, chopped
- cilantro, chopped
- eggs
- Kewpie mayonnaise, or a mayo of your preference
- sriracha
- fried shallots
Instructions
- In a pan, fry up the Chinese sausage until it's cooked through.
- Remove from pan and set aside.
- Wipe pan clean.
- Over medium heat, place dry rice paper in the same pan.
- Sprinkle green onions and cilantro, then crack one egg and spread around rice paper.
- Sprinkle some cooked Chinese sausage, drizzle mayonnaise and sriracha, and top with fried shallots.
- Fold rice paper over (like an omelette or crepe), flip it, and then it's ready to eat!
